Brief
Our brief for this event was to deliver a conference for twenty delegates in the morning followed by a fun event which would break down barriers within the group and help everyone get to know one another.
The delegates had only recently started working together and the aim was to primarily provide a positive shared experience which everyone would enjoy. An event of this kind delivers improved communication, makes teams feel valued and leads to an improved working environment.
Format
The delegates were welcomed on site by their VIP Adrenaline Events Manager at 9am. Tea and coffee was served and each delegate chose what they would like for each course of their lunch. (Allowing delegates to select their menu preferences on the morning of the event is a method we find works particularly well. It allows the kitchen to be prepared but unlike traditional advanced ordering does not require our clients to collate menu choices days or weeks in advance - a practice which is always time consuming.)
Having made sure that the delegates had everything they required the conference began. The VIP Adrenaline Events Manager remained on site in easy reach of delegates should they have any problems or ad-hoc requests.
Following a successful morning's meeting, guests were ready for lunch. Their Events Manager led them downstairs to their private dining room.
Following a quick introduction to the afternoons activities each delegate was given the details of their murder mystery character and their scripts for the event. They were then taken into our adjacent props room to dress for the part.
With the scene now set our Chief Inspector, played by an actor, revealed that a murder had been committed and the event started in earnest.
Over a delicious two course lunch, coffees and the early part of the afternoon (up until approximately 4pm) Guests found themselves embroiled in a complicated mystery. No one knew who the murder was and everyone was aware that it might just turn out to be them!
With the Chief Inspector presiding over events guests had a variety of tasks to complete including playing out some scripted scenes, questioning other guests, working in teams to assemble a crime board and ultimately solve the crime. The information which VIP Adrenaline supplied to guests provided them with enough information to be as creative with their characters as they wished. They could either stick to their script or unleash their hidden talents and adlib, putting their own stamp on their role.
(The scripts for our Murder Mystery events are custom written for each group. This means that we are always able to include some references in the plot to experiences which we know the group has shared in real life.)
At the end of the event our Chief Inspector asked the group to gather round and share their theories on who committed the dastardly dead. The real murderer was then revealed and their motives exposed. The Murderer was then arrested and removed in handcuffs . . . returning just in time for the prize giving.

Price
An event of this type would cost £1750 +vat (based on 20 guests) £87.50 + vat per person. Please note that this includes a custom written mystery designed to meet your objectives. Prices will vary slightly depending on location, lunch menu and venue type chosen.
