Location
Stunning Lake District countryside and a luxury hotel
Format: Day 1
Guests will arrive in the Lake District for a half day of gorge walking that will challenge, inspire and reward. In teams of 30, guests will be encouraged to tackle this demanding course of climbing, scrambling and swimming. Requiring extensive effort from individuals, and a huge team effort, this element of the event is a fantastic way to unite guests.

The afternoon will then be spent relaxing and enjoying the leisure facilities at a luxury Lake District hotel. This is the perfect compliment for the tough physical challenge of Gorge Walking. A delicious evening meal will provide the perfect opportunity for guests to regroup over dinner and swap stories from the event so far.
Format: Day 2
Survival training will take place on day two, combining more physical challenges with tactical communication.
Does your group have the skills and techniques required to survive the great outdoors? All you need are the basic necessities of human life: shelter, water and food. Your group will learn how to find and build shelters, light and maintain fires and identify and prepare wild food.

SHELTER BUILDING You will be taught by the experts how to make shelter, the most important of all survival skills. Either with natural materials or the equipment you have to hand.
FIRE LIGHTING In this exercise you will learn how simple it is to achieve fire and warmth when equipped with the right knowledge, the ability to create vital tools and a bit of perseverance.
MAP READING Basic map and compass work is required to navigate yourselves around various checkpoints and landmarks in the area. You'll be instructed by ex-special forces instructors who have appreciated first hand the need to know exactly where you are in order to survive.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS You can also add the following activities to your event, time allowing.
- CLOSE QUARTER BATTLE (CQB): You will learn how to operate weapons and fire at targets by our highly qualified instructors, who are all ex-military. This culminates within the session of going down the CQB lane and firing at targets with your partner under the watchful eye of the instructor.
- SNIPER TRAINING: Each member of the group will be issued with their own weapon and instructed to the highest level, you will learn how to fire and hit targets at a great distance. Again this activity is very competitive, however, a lot of fun. Everybody wants to be a Sniper!
- RATION PACKS: Each member will be given their Army Issue Ration Pack. The nutritional values of the packs and the practicalities of preparation will be taught. Then there is the fun not only of cooking but also the delight of sampling your survival packs.
- UNARMED COMBAT: Taught by our highly trained instructors, learn a few moves that might be of use in a tight spot. The session is a highly relaxed and controlled session in which there will be something for everybody.
- SLEEPING OVERNIGHT: If you would like to extend your event you can add the opportunity for guests to test their shelters and bashers by sleeping out overnight under the stars. A campfire will be lit and the chance to tell jokes and tales over a few drinks.
